Plan: Magic Kingdom One-Day Not-A-Touring-Plan Plan for Parents with Small Children
Summary: If step-by-step plans arent your thing we recommend using these "Not-A-Touring-Plan" plans instead. Theyre a loose collection of guidelines we use when telling folks how to tour the Magic Kingdom. Most of these plans (there are more for parents, and for the other parks) aren't more than a dozen sentences long. For example, one step in the plans is "Tour Liberty Square next." See those attractions in any order. Stop to get character autographs, to shop, or to rest. Continue the plan whenever you're ready. Skip attractions which do not interest your family. You'll have a solid strategy for beating most of the crowds, with the most flexible schedule possible.
Additional Instructions: Arrive at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom 50 minutes (Disney resort guests) to 70 minutes (non-Disney resort guests) prior to opening. During days of peak attendance, the Magic Kingdom may open at 8 am or earlier. If touring during a holiday, try our holiday plans.
